FAQ and shipping

The bits you'll want to know.

Fit, councils, care, shipping, and returns. If your question isn't here, ask us directly and we'll get back to you.

Fit and councils

The two questions everyone asks first.

Will it fit my council bin?

Yes if you have a standard 240L Australian council bin. Our wheelie bin covers are sized for the 240L body, which is the most common council-issued bin nationwide. Not sure of your size? Most bins have the capacity moulded into the plastic on the body or under the lid: look for 240 or 240L. Smaller 120L and 140L bins and the larger 360L aren't a fit.

Will my council have a problem with it?

Wheelie Wraps are designed around how councils actually collect bins. The lid stays uncovered, so the lid colour that signals the bin's contents is always visible. The wheels stay accessible, and the body flexes with the bin so collection-truck lift arms grip normally. There's no adhesive, no damage, and the Wrap removes in two minutes. We've yet to find a council that objects.

The Wrap itself

Fabric, fitting, and keeping it looking sharp.

What is a Wheelie Wrap made from?

Soft, stretchy fabric that hugs the bin and sits snug. It's made to live outdoors, handling sun, rain, and bin night week after week.

How is a Wheelie Wrap installed?

Drape it over the bin, zip up the back corner, loop the three velcro tabs behind the handles, wrap the closures around each wheel, then press the velcro closed at the back corners of the lid. Two minutes solo, faster with a partner. No tools.

How do I look after my Wrap?

Designed to be machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air dried. Between washes, a quick wipe with warm soapy water keeps the print looking sharp. Avoid harsh chemicals, the dryer, and abrasive scrubs.

Where we ship, what it costs, and when your Wrap arrives.

Returns

What's covered and how to sort it.

Do you offer returns?

Change of mind isn't covered, so please check the sizing and pattern before you order. If something turns up faulty, damaged, or it's the wrong item, email hello@wheeliewraps.com.au and we'll sort a repair, replacement, or refund, with return postage on us. You're always covered by your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Bins for Good

The charity range, explained.

How does Bins for Good work?

Each Bins for Good pattern backs one Australian cause, raising funds and awareness for it every bin day. When a Wrap sells, 30% of the profit from it is donated to registered Australian charities for that cause. As partner charities come on board, we'll name them on their pattern and the donations go to them directly.
